Notes

The New York Jets experienced a resurgence in the 1980s, highlighted by the emergence of the "New York Sack Exchange" defensive line and an appearance in the 1982 AFC Championship Game. Led by coaches Walt Michaels and Joe Walton, the team achieved a winning record of 73-77-2 over the decade and successfully transitioned to playing at Giants Stadium in 1948.
