Very rare Third shorts as worn in the 1983-85 seasons where John Neal guided the side back to the First Division, finishing as champions in 1983-84 with Kerry Dixon top scoring for the side with 34 goals in all competitions. 1984-85 saw the side finishing in an impressive 6th in the First Division with Dixon once again in great form, scoring 36 in all competitions
