Home shirt as worn over two seasons when the side competed in the First Division, firstly under Billy McNeill when the side finished 15th in 85-86. In 86-87, McNeill only survived until the end of September after winning only one of their opening 7 matches, with Jimmy Frizzell brought in to steady the ship. Unfortunately for City fans, things went from bad to worse as the side slumped to a 21st place finish after winning only 3 league matches in 1987.
