Notes

The 1990-91 campaign for Queens Park Rangers was a season of dramatic recovery, ultimately delivering a respectable 12th-place finish in the First Division. The Hoops suffered an alarming eight-game losing streak in the autumn but rallied in the new year, with the clear highlight being a sensational 3-1 victory at Anfield against title-chasing Liverpool. Spearheading the attack was the dazzling forward Roy Wegerle, whose 18 league goals were a decisive factor, including a spectacular solo effort against Leeds United. Though the year was marked by the end of Don Howe's tenure before the arrival of club hero Gerry Francis, the team's strong finish secured their top-flight status and remains a defining chapter of their time in the elite.
