Classic design home shirt as worn by Gascoigne in the 1991 FA Cup Final victory. Gazza had been named in the PFA Team of the Year for the 1990-91 season after impressing with 19 goals in all competition, with many coming in the FA Cup run, notably that free-kick against bitter rivals Arsenal in the semi-final. However, the final ended in personal disappointment when he committed a dangerous tackle on Nottingham Forrest player Gary Charles, and in the process suffered cruciate ligament damage to his knee. Stuart Pearce scored from the free-kick, and subsequently, Gazza collapsed after kick-off and was stretchered off, as his team went on to claim an extra time victory
