Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Clough for the Friendly match against Germany, played at Wembley on 11th September 1991. The Three Lions were out to avenge their defeat to Dei Mannschaft at Italia 90' the previous year but fell to a 1-0 loss here after a Karl Heinz Riedle goal. Clough was an unused substitute for the match but won 14 caps in total for his country between 1989-92. At club level he enjoyed his best spell with Nottingham Forest picking up two League Cup titles before going on to have stints with Liverpool and Manchester City.
