Notes

The 1992-93 campaign delivered a hard-fought survival for Genoa as The Griffins, celebrating their centenary year with a special patch on their shirts, clung to their Serie A status with a 13th-place finish. Leading the attack was the beloved Czech striker Tomáš Skuhravý, whose 10 crucial goals proved decisive in the turbulent season that saw the club just escape relegation. It was a difficult year that solidified the team's grit in the top flight, coming just one season after their historic run to the UEFA Cup semi-finals.. The 1993-94 campaign delivered a mid-table finish for Genoa, with The Griffins securing an 11th-place spot in Serie A. Leading the charge was the legendary Czech international forward Tomáš Skuhravý, whose 9 goals proved vital for the side. This was a season of transition for the club, which was unable to match its recent European heights after the departure of key youngsters. Nevertheless, the team, featuring players like Dan Petrescu and veteran Gianluca Signorini, held its own in the fiercely competitive Italian top flight.
