Notes

The 1993-94 campaign delivered a respectable 7th-place finish for VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga, a season of consolidation for Die Schwaben after their recent championship triumph. The attack was anchored by veteran forward Fritz Walter, whose 13 crucial goals led the line alongside a world-class core featuring legends Guido Buchwald, Michael Frontzeck, and Brazilian maestro Dunga. It was a solid year of transition that ultimately secured a safe mid-table spot, though it fell just short of a European return.. The 1994-95 campaign was a season of solid foundation-building for VfB Stuttgart, with Die Schwaben ultimately securing a respectable 12th-place finish in the Bundesliga. The year was defined by the sensational emergence of young centre-forward Fredi Bobic, who grabbed 12 goals in his debut Bundesliga season, even scoring in his first five games, immediately announcing himself as a star. The squad featured a blend of experience and youth, including Brazilian World Cup captain Dunga and the brilliant young forward Giovane Élber, laying the groundwork for the DFB-Pokal-winning side two seasons later.
