- Specification - Match Issue
- Competition - UEFA Euro 1996 qualifying - Slovakia were unfortunate not to qualify for Euro 1996 as they came 3rd in a tough Group 1 with 14 points. Romania and France topped the group with 21 and 20 points respectively. However, the side did entertain some impressive results with a 0-0 draw to France in Saint-Etienne and also a 4-1 win against Poland in Bratislava.
