Schwarz, ever the eccentric, at different points during his career had expressed interest in becoming a "space tourist" so when he signed for Sunderland later in his career - the club inserted a "space clause" into his contract stating that if he were to travel into space during his time at the club, his contract would be invalid and he'd be released from the club.
