Home shirt as worn by Les Bleu et Blanc as they managed an 8th place finish in Ligue 1 but did manage to win the Coupe de la Ligue, beating Bordeaux 6-5 on penalties. Nouma joined Strasbourg this term from PSG and went on to make 57 appearances for the club, scoring 22 times before departing to Lens in 1998
