Extremely rare made in South America version of the home shirt as worn at the 1997 Copa América. Peru finished 2nd in Group B and went on to face Argentina in the Quarter Finals, winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Carazas and Hidalgo. Peru would then face Brazil in the Semi-Finals but were humbled by the Seleção in a 7-0 thrashing
