Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Alexandris for the 1998 World Cup Qualification UEFA Group 1 match against Denmark, played at Idraetsparken in Copenhagen on 9th October 1996. Theo Zagorakis opened the scoring but at the wrong end, the POAK man inadvertently fired into his own net after just 25 minutes. But the Greeks weren't behind for long though with George Donis rifling a superb free-kick past Peter Schmeichel to level the scores before the break. Brian Laudrup's cracking second-half solo effort proved the difference in the end however, final score 2-1. Alexandris came on for Daniel Batista-Lima just before the hour mark. The striker won 42 caps for Greece, scoring 10 goals following his debut in 1991.
