Notes

The 1996 Pittsburgh Steelers enjoyed a successful season, finishing 10-6 and clinching their third consecutive AFC Central title. The year was highlighted by the arrival of Jerome Bettis, who rushed for over 1,400 yards and earned Pro Bowl honors, helping lead the team to a playoff victory over the Indianapolis Colts. A 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and Super Bowl XL champion, Jerome "The Bus" Bettis was a legendary power running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers who retired as the NFL's fifth all-time leading rusher and earned six Pro Bowl selections.
