Home shirt as worn when the side won a cup double, winning the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue, qualifying for the final season of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup. The side saw off Lens in the Final of the Coupe de France with a 2-1 win courtesy of goals from Raà and Marco Simone. The Coupe de la Ligue Final saw PSG face off with Bordeaux. Bordeaux took the lead after 30 minutes through Johan Micoud. PSG were unable to respond until the 80th minute with Simone saving PSG’s blushes and forcing extra time. Raà once again scored in a cup final in the 107th minute but the Brazilian’s goal was cancelled out by Jean-Pierre Papin in the 114th minute to send the tie to penalties. Gralak and Papin both missed their penalties for Bordeaux with all 4 of PSG’s takers scoring, meaning the domestic double headed back to the Parc des Princes
