Classic design home shirt as worn by the engimatic Italian striker Marco Negri when he famously top scored in the 1997-98 season with 32 league goals in 28 games. He also managed to score 23 league goals in his first 10 games in this season. However, Negri's scoring run was brought to an end by a injury to the retina in his eye which required surgery - attributed to a squash match with team mate Sergio Porrini. He would never recapture this goalscoring form post recovery and suffered further injuries which kept him out of action.
