Le Coq Sportif home shirt as worn by Scotland's oldest association football club, Queen's Park, from 1998-01. Iconically sponsored by the country's favourite beverage, adorned on the front, the Spiders were a fully amateur side at this moment in time. Their status was reflected within the club motto, 'Ludere Causa Ludendi' - 'To Play for the Sake of Playing', and the Scottish team even played their games at Hampden Park: the home of the national side! Erected in 1867, the side would stay as one of the only amateur clubs in Scottish football until 2019, just 152 years after formation.
