Features
Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Sellars ahead of the First Division Play-off Final against Watford, played at Wembley on 31st May 1999. The Trotters were looking to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking and sneaked into the Play-offs ahead of Wolves on the final day of the season. Colin Todd's side then beat 3rd placed Ipswich on away goals to set up a Wembley Final against Watford. It wasn't to be for the Whites as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at the home of football. Sellars started on the bench but came on for Michael Johansen midway through the second half. He made 28 appearances in all competitions this season which would be his last year in Bolton before joining Huddersfield as his career winded down. Sellar wore short sleeves in the Final and this shirt is believed to have been a long-sleeved spare prepared to match specifications ahead of the fixture.
