Notes

Away shirt as worn in George Graham's first season in charge when the side finished 11th place in the Premiership, but they did triumph in the Worthington Cup (while also reaching the FA Cup semi-final). In the League Cup, they knocked out Liverpool, Manchester United and Wimbledon in the semi-finals to reach Wembley and the final vs Leicester City. Winning 1–0 in the final, thanks to an Allan Nielsen goal in the last minute of normal time. His debut and only appearance through the season came in May 1999 at Anfield ending in a 3–2 defeat to Liverpool, when breaking into the first team under former manager George Graham he was often used as a midfielder
