Official Mexico 1998 reissue shirts produced by Mexican sportswear brand and original manufacturer, ABA Sport. Mexico brought a whole new design concept to the 1998 World Cup with their amazing shirts covered by a huge graphic of the Aztec calendar. The world was also introduced to the "Blanco Bounce" and with Luis Hernandez banging them in with his blond hair flowing and Jorge Campos playing in goal but wearing outfield shirts, they were flamboyant and captivating. The Sun Stone kits were the creation of Mexican brand ABA Sport who landed the national team in 1996 and wanted to make a statement by leaning into local culture, a bold and innovative move at the time. Mexico legend and future captain Rafael Marquez made his debut for the national team in the crazy third design. Mexico's current home shirts, the one just worn at the 2026 World Cup, takes inspiration from these 1998 designs also featuring an all-over Aztec graphic.
