The 1999-00 Toronto Maple Leafs enjoyed a historic season, finishing first in the Northeast Division with 100 points, marking the first time the franchise reached the 100-point plateau and their first division title since 1963. Under head coach and general manager Pat Quinn, the team was led by captain Mats Sundin, who recorded 73 points, and goaltender Curtis Joseph, who set a then-franchise record with 36 wins. The season, which was the first full campaign at the Air Canada Centre, saw the Maple Leafs defeat the Ottawa Senators in the opening round of the playoffs before falling to the eventual Stanley Cup champion New Jersey Devils in the Conference Semi-finals.
