Notes

The 2000-01 campaign was a season of soaring ambition and eventual mid-table consolidation for Udinese as the Bianconeri finished 12th in Serie A, having briefly topped the table early on. Leading the charge was the prolific Argentine striker Roberto Sosa, whose 15 league goals proved decisive in a year marked by turbulence and a crucial managerial change to secure their top-flight status. The season also delivered European success, with the club clinching the UEFA Intertoto Cup title to qualify for the UEFA Cup.
