Away shirt as worn by Rovers in 2000-01 as they were promoted to the Premiership at local rivals Preston's Deepdale stadium, thanks to a back-post header by cult hero Matt Jansen. This shirt was also worn as a third strip during the 2001-02 season, when the Lancashire giants won the 2002 Worthington League Cup, beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in Cardiff, thanks to goals from Matt Jansen and Andy Cole as well as a world-class perfomance from 'keeper Brad Friedel.
