Offensively, the team scored 50 goals, led by Eric Wynalda with 10 strikes, while Peter Nowak contributed 10 assists. In the postseason, the Fire compiled a 2-2-2 record, advancing to the MLS Cup semifinals where they were eliminated by the LA Galaxy.
