Notes

The 2000-01 campaign delivered an unexpected and spectacular triumph for RCD Mallorca as Los Bermellones surged to a 3rd-place finish in La Liga, securing a coveted spot in the Champions League qualifying rounds. Under the shrewd management of the late Luis Aragonés, the team was spearheaded by the emerging superstar Samuel Eto'o, whose 11 league goals proved decisive alongside the creative force of Ariel Ibagaza. It was a golden year that marked the beginning of Eto'o's legend and remains one of the most defining and proudest chapters in the club's history.. The 2001-02 campaign was a turbulent season for Mallorca as Los Bermellones finished a nervous 16th in La Liga after going through three different head coaches. The year was defined by a memorable European adventure, which saw them reach the UEFA Champions League First Group Stage, thanks to a crucial extra-time goal from star striker Albert Luque. Luque's 14 league goals anchored the attack in a chaotic but unforgettable season that marked a dramatic high-point in the club's continental history.
