Player - Experienced tough tackling defender Kit Symons #16
Features
Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Symons during the period 2000-01 period. The Dragons wore this Kappa design as they attempted to qualify for the 2002 World Cup. They were placed in a tough group that included the likes of Sweden and Ukraine. Former Portsmouth man Symons featured 4 times in qualifying, as Mark Hughes' men finished 5th with just 9 points from 10 games. A notoriously combative defender he earned 36 caps in total for Wales and had impressive spells with Manchester City, Fulham and Crystal Palace at club level.
