Notes

The Vancouver Canucks enjoyed a dynamic 2001-02 season, highlighted by an explosive offense that led the NHL with 254 goals. Under head coach Marc Crawford, the team finished second in the Northwest Division with a 42-30-7-3 record and secured their second consecutive playoff berth thanks to a spectacular 13-2-1 run to end the regular season. The campaign was defined by the dominance of the West Coast Express line, with captain Markus Naslund recording a career-high 90 points and Todd Bertuzzi netting 36 goals, while the young Sedin twins continued their promising development. Although their postseason journey ended in a hard-fought series against the eventual champion Detroit Red Wings, the season solidified Vancouver's status as one of the league's most exciting and high-powered teams. The Vancouver Canucks enjoyed a highly successful 2002-03 season, finishing second in the Northwest Division with an impressive 104 points. The campaign was defined by the league-wide dominance of the West Coast Express line, featuring Markus Naslund, who recorded 104 points, alongside Todd Bertuzzi and Brendan Morrison. A major highlight included a franchise-record 10-game winning streak in November, and while the team narrowly missed out on the division title, they demonstrated great resilience in the playoffs by defeating the St. Louis Blues in a thrilling seven-game opening series.
