Classic design worn by West Brom in the infamous game dubbed as the "Battle of Bramall Lane" in March 2002. The Baggies made the short trip to South Yorkshire to face Sheffield United in a First Division clash that was by no means a derby, but ended up becoming the only match in English professional history to have been abandoned due a shortage of players. The United goalkeeper was sent off within the first 10 minutes for handling outside the area and they trailed 1-0 at the break. But after the restart manager Neil Warnock made two subs in the latter stages of the game, in which the both of them were sent off after a horrific two-footed challenge from Georges Santos and a headbutt from Patrick Suffo in the aftermath. Then being down to 8 men, two United players suffered injuries and the match was abandoned due to the Blades having used all of their substitutions.
