Notes

Rare home shirt as worn during the 2001-4 period where I Canarini were promoted to Serie A in 2001-02 after a second place finish in Serie B. Modena clung to life in Serie A by head-to head record after 4 teams between 12th and 15th place all finished the season on 38 points. Gianni De Biasi was replaced as manager for 2003-04, but new manager Alberto Malesani was sacked in March 2004 with the threat of relegation looming, Gianfranco Bellotto replaced him to try and steady the ship but couldn't steer the club to safety as the side were relegated, finishing in 16th
