Notes

The 2002-03 campaign delivered a season of solid mid-table consolidation for Bologna as the Rossoblu secured an 11th-place finish in Serie A under manager Francesco Guidolin. The year was marked by an exciting European adventure, which saw them clinch the UEFA Intertoto Cup with a dramatic final victory over Fulham. Leading the charge was their veteran captain, Giuseppe Signori, whose 12 league goals proved crucial, anchoring an attack that also featured Julio Cruz. It was a vital season that secured their top-flight status and added European silverware to the club's cabinet.
