The 2002-03 campaign delivered a chaotic yet historic season for Fulham as The Cottagers secured their Premier League status with a 14th-place finish, despite navigating a turbulent year. The season was defined by a controversial temporary ground-share at Loftus Road and a mid-season managerial change that saw Jean Tigana replaced by Chris Coleman. Crucially, the club made their European debut, triumphantly winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup to earn a place in the UEFA Cup, where they reached the third round. Leading the line was Steed Malbranque, whose six league goals (13 goals overall) proved vital in a memorable year of transition.
