Home shirt worn by The Boys in Green during their 2002 World Cup campaign. The side went unbeaten throughout the group stage, grinding out draws to Cameroon and eventual finalists Germany, whilst also picking up a convincing win against Saudi Arabia. The tournament culminated, for Ireland, in a thrilling Round of 16 knockout match in which Robbie Keane's last-minute equaliser dragged the side into extra time. Eventually, the team ended up on the wrong side of a dramatic penalty shoot-out, bringing an end to their journey in Japan.
