Notes

The 2002-03 campaign delivered heartbreak for Piacenza as the Biancorossi finished 16th in Serie A and were ultimately relegated to Serie B, ending their two-season spell in the top flight. Despite the mid-season arrival of Luigi Cagni to replace Andrea Agostinelli, the club could not escape the drop. Leading the charge, however, was the legendary veteran striker Dario 'Il Bisonte' Hübner, whose 14 crucial goals proved his enduring quality even as the club went down. It was a turbulent year that saw the club return to the second tier but remains a defining chapter due to Hübner's goal-scoring tenacity.
