The 2002-03 campaign saw Rotherham United, under manager Ronnie Moore, secure a respectable 15th-place finish in the First Division, consolidating their status in the second tier. Leading the charge was striker Alan Lee, whose 15 league goals proved vital in a campaign built on attacking moments and resilience. Highlights included an unforgettable 6-0 opening day victory away at Millwall and a run to the Fourth Round of the League Cup, which remains a defining chapter of The Millers' modern stability.
