Notes

In Tony Dungy's first year as head coach, the 2002 Indianapolis Colts enjoyed a successful 10-6 season and secured a playoff berth. The team featured a high-powered offense led by quarterback Peyton Manning, who threw for over 4,000 yards, and star receiver Marvin Harrison, who set an NFL record with 143 receptions. Bolstered by a revitalized defense and the emergence of defensive end Dwight Freeney, the Colts finished second in the AFC South and showcased their potential as a perennial championship contender. The first overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft and a 2021 Hall of Fame inductee, Peyton Manning is a legendary five-time MVP and two-time Super Bowl champion who spent 14 seasons as the cornerstone of the Indianapolis Colts.
