Notes

The 2003-04 campaign delivered a respectable mid-table finish for Lecce as Giallorossi, under the guidance of Delio Rossi, secured 10th place in Serie A after recovering from a difficult start. Leading the charge was the sensational Uruguayan forward Javier Chevantón, whose 19 goals made him the fourth-highest scorer in the competition and saw him become the club's all-time top scorer. This pivotal season saw memorable victories over rivals Inter Milan and Juventus, and it remains a defining chapter that solidified Lecce's top-flight status through attacking flair and Chevantón's heroics.
