Notes

The 2003-04 campaign delivered a historic third consecutive Ligue 1 title for Olympique Lyonnais as Les Gones dominated the championship with the league's best attack and best defense. Spearheading the charge was the clinical Péguy Luyindula, whose 16 league goals proved vital in a season that saw Lyon finish comfortably ahead of rivals PSG and Monaco. It was a triumphant year that included their first-ever run to the UEFA Champions League Quarter-finals, marking the club's definitive arrival as a European elite under manager Paul Le Guen.
