Notes

Home shirt as worn when the Cottagers finished up 9th and 13th in the Premier League under former club captain Chris Coleman. The side would lose star striker Louis Saha to Manchester United in January 2004 after he had already netted 13 league goals. An ageing Andrew Cole would be his replacement in the following season, matching Saha’s tally from the 2003-04 campaign. Highlight results across this period would be highly impressive away wins at Spurs, Manchester United and Newcastle United along with a 6-0 home thrashing of Norwich to sign off the 2004-05 campaign
