Notes

The 2003-04 campaign saw Vicenza secure a safe 13th-place finish in a historically tumultuous Serie B season. The league was chaotically expanded to a massive 24 teams and consisted of an unprecedented 46 matchdays due to the 'Caso Catania' and related controversies. Leading the charge for the Biancorossi was striker Massimo Margiotta, whose 11 goals proved vital in a year defined by its sheer length and the club's successful navigation of the chaotic second tier, remaining safely in the division despite the dramatic off-field turmoil.. The 2004-05 campaign was a chaotic and ultimately heartbreaking season for Vicenza, with the Biancorossi finishing 17th in a turbulent Serie B that was marred by off-pitch drama. Spearheading the attack was the veteran striker Stefan Schwoch, whose 12 crucial league goals, supported by Massimo Margiotta's 10, were not enough to save the team from a tense relegation play-out. The season, which saw the club begin under a new manager in Maurizio Viscidi, ended in a devastating drop to Serie C1, marking a painful and defining chapter in the history of the club.
