Player - Experienced shot stopper and New York native Paul Grafer #30
Features
Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Grafer during the 2003 season. The former Colorado Rapids man entered his fourth season with the Metrostars and made 3 appearances in all competitions as the side finished 3rd in the Eastern Conference and reached the Playoffs before narrowly losing out to New England Revolution 3-1 on aggregate. Grafer was backup to Tim Howard for the first part of the season before he joined Premier League giants Manchester United and then played second fiddle to Jonny Walker for the rest of the campaign. He had joined the side from Long Island Rough Riders in 2000 and never really held down a spot in the starting XI but was adored by the fans for his trademark black jogging bottoms that he wore instead of shorts in matches.
