The 2004-05 campaign was a season of mid-table consolidation for Blackpool as The Seasiders finished a secure 16th place in the newly rebranded League One under new manager Colin Hendry. Leading the charge was Scott Taylor, whose 12 league goals proved decisive in a campaign built on stability and their fourth consecutive season in the third tier. It was a steady year that marked the start of a new managerial era at Bloomfield Road.
