Notes

The 2004-05 campaign was a dramatic, nail-biting return for Fiorentina to Serie A, following the club's re-establishment after bankruptcy and a two-year absence. Despite a new-look squad featuring Giorgio Chiellini and Hidetoshi Nakata, La Viola quickly plunged into a tense relegation fight that defined their season. Leading the charge was the clinical forward Fabrizio Miccoli, whose 12 crucial goals proved vital in a campaign marked by managerial turbulence. The season reached its emotional climax under coach Dino Zoff, with a memorable 3-0 victory over Brescia on the final day securing their 16th-place finish and top-flight survival.
