Notes

The Philadelphia 76ers enjoyed a successful 2004-05 season, finishing second in the Atlantic Division with a 43-39 record and returning to the playoffs as the seventh seed. Led by superstar Allen Iverson, who secured his fourth career scoring title and earned NBA All-Star Game MVP honors, the team was further bolstered by the midseason acquisition of All-Star Chris Webber and the standout debut of All-Rookie First Team selection Andre Iguodala. Despite a hard-fought first-round playoff series against the defending champion Detroit Pistons, the season was highlighted by a strong late-season surge and the emergence of a promising young core. The 2005-06 Philadelphia 76ers season was highlighted by the offensive brilliance of Allen Iverson, who finished the year averaging a spectacular 33.0 points per game and earned All-NBA Third Team honors. Under first-year head coach Maurice Cheeks, the team remained competitive in the Atlantic Division, finishing in second place with a 38-44 record. The season also featured the continued emergence of young star Andre Iguodala, who won the Rising Stars Challenge MVP, and solid veteran production from Chris Webber, who averaged nearly a double-double. The first overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft and a 2016 Hall of Fame inductee, Allen Iverson was an 11-time All-Star and the 2001 NBA MVP who led the Philadelphia 76ers to the Finals while winning four scoring titles during his legendary career.
