Player - Experienced winger Niclas Alexandersson #7
Features
Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Alexandersson for the Friendly match against Holland, played at the Råsunda Stadium in Stockholm on 18th August 2004. A thrilling game saw the sides play out a 2-2 draw in the Swedish capital. An early Mattias Jonson strike gave the hosts the lead inside the opening 5 minutes but a thunderbolt from Wesley Sneijder and Mark van Bommel header saw the Oranje turn the tables to lead before the break. Zlatan Ibrahimović would find an equaliser mid-way through the second half to earn the Swedes a share of the bragging rights. Alexandersson started on the bench before coming on for Mikael Nilsson on 61 minutes. The winger earned a superb 109 caps in total for his country between 1993-2008 and featured at 4 major international tournaments.
