Notes
The 2005-06 season saw Michael Ballack cement his status as the commanding heartbeat of Bayern Munich, leading the club to a historic domestic double of the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. His final campaign in Bavaria was defined by his world-class goalscoring threat from midfield, netting 14 league goals and a memorable Champions League strike against AC Milan. This era is fondly remembered for his talismanic leadership and iconic moments of quality, including a spectacular Goal of the Month winning dropkick against Bayer Leverkusen, ensuring he departed for Chelsea as a true legend of the German game.
