Notes - Extremely rare player shirt believed to have been issued to Zhelev during the 2005-06 UEFA Cup Group D match against AZ Alkmaar played at Lovech Stadion on the 30th November 2005. The Oranzhevite were regulars in the early rounds of the competition and made it to the group stage this season, beating HNK Rijeka and Genk in the qualifying rounds. They lost out to the Eredivisie outfit in this one, thanks to goals from van Galen and Sektioui for the visitors. A third-place finish in Group D sent the side to the knockout stage, where they lost out to Strasbourg over two legs. Zhelev played in the match against Genk, and scored an 83rd-minute winner to send Litex to the groups. The defender made over 200 appearances for Litex and has managed the side since 2016.
