Notes - Very rare player shirt believed to have been issued to or worn by Elliot for the 2005 UEFA Intertoto Cup campaign. The Toon were entered into the 3rd round against ZTS Dubnica and beat the Slovakian outfit 5-1 on aggregate before running into Spanish side Deportivo La Coruña where they fell to a 4-2 defeat over the two legs. This kit was worn in the away legs of both ties, Elliot featured twice in the competition, playing the full match away at Dubnica and 90 minutes once more against Deportivo at St James' park. This was his 5th season back in the North East after rejoining from Bolton having previously starred for the Magpies between 1991-97. He made 22 appearances in all competitions helping the Toon to 7th placed Premier League finish this year before opting to join rivals Sunderland at the end of the campaign and later having spells with Leeds and Hartlepool.
