Notes

The 2005 Oakland Raiders season, their second under head coach Norv Turner, was highlighted by the blockbuster acquisition of superstar wide receiver Randy Moss and the emergence of Derrick Burgess, who earned a Pro Bowl selection after leading the NFL with 16 sacks. Despite a 4-12 record, the team showcased a high-powered vertical passing attack and celebrated notable victories over the Cowboys, Bills, and Redskins, while running back LaMont Jordan and wide receiver Randy Moss both surpassed the 1,000-yard milestone in their respective categories. The 2006 Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders) season was highlighted by a premier defensive unit that ranked third in the league in total yards allowed and featured standout Pro Bowl pass rusher Derrick Burgess. While the team finished with a 2-14 record under head coach Art Shell, the season included consecutive victories over the Arizona Cardinals and the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers. Defensive back Nnamdi Asomugha emerged as a dominant force with eight interceptions, and the team secured the top pick in the following year's draft to continue their rebuilding efforts.
