Notes
The 2005-06 campaign was a season of anxious, last-gasp survival for Torquay United, as the Gulls finished a precarious 20th in League Two, narrowly avoiding the drop. The club's fight for their Football League status was spearheaded by the crucial goals of joint-top scorers Tony Bedeau and Kevin Hill, whose nine goals apiece proved vital. It was a stressful year, ultimately defined by a late-season rally that secured their safety and etched a dramatic chapter of endurance into the Gulls' modern history.
