Notes

The 2005-06 campaign was a season of grim struggle and immense relief for Vicenza as the Biancorossi battled through a tumultuous year to secure a crucial 16th-place finish in Serie B, narrowly escaping the relegation play-offs by a single point. Leading the charge for goals were the joint top scorers, the ever-reliable veteran captain Stefan Schwoch and the Paraguayan forward Julio González, who each notched 8 vital goals in a campaign built on sheer grit and the desperate, late-season fight to maintain their second-tier status. It was a stressful year that demanded the full commitment of players under manager Giancarlo Camolese and remains a defining chapter of the club's enduring fight for survival.
